Job Description

The Hospitality Recruiter is responsible for managing the recruitment process for a range of roles within the travel, leisure, tourism and hospitality sectors. This role focuses on sourcing, attracting, and selecting high-calibre candidates to meet the staffing needs of the organisation or client. The post holder ensures a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment cycle and works closely with hiring managers to understand and fulfil their workforce requirements. The ideal candidate has worked within the lodge enviroment and climbed the ladder and understands all the differnt departments from guiding to kitchen to management. Must have high end luxury hospitaliy experince.

Job Duties

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to the hospitality industry.
  • Source candidates through various channels including online job boards, social media, networking events and industry contacts.
  • Screen applications and conduct interviews to assess candidates' suitability for roles.
  • Co-ordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates and hiring managers throughout the process.
  • Manage the offer process including salary negotiation and contract preparation in line with organisational policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal recruitment policies at all times.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates and industry contacts.
  • Advise hiring managers on market trends, salary benchmarks and candidate availability.
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract top talent within the hospitality sector.

Required Qualifications

  • A recognised qualification in human resources, recruitment, business administration or a related discipline is desirable.

Education

  • Educated to a minimum of A-level standard or equivalent.

Experience

  • Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the hospitality, travel, leisure or tourism sectors.
  • Demonstrable success in managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Experience of using applicant tracking systems and recruitment databases.
  • Experience in candidate sourcing techniques including social media and networking.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Good understanding of employment legislation and best recruitment practises.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and high level of organisation.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Membership of a professional recruitment or human resources body.
  • Experience recruiting for a broad range of hospitality roles including front of house, management and operational positions.
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry's employment trends and challenges.

Working Conditions

  • Remote
  • Full-time hours, typically Monday to Friday, with occasional requirements to meet deadlines or attend industry events outside normal hours.
  • Use of standard office equipment such as computers, telephones and internet access.
