HR Advisor
Location: Stevenage
Contract: 12 Months (Maternity Cover)
Working Pattern: Full-Time on-site, Monday to Friday with occasional hybrid working
Pay Rate: £16.45 per hour PAYE / £22.00 per hour Umbrella
Security Clearance: BPSS with eligibility to obtain SC Clearance required
Our Aerospace client is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive HR Advisor to join their HR team based in Stevenage on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their HR career within a large, complex organisation, whether you're a recent HR graduate, early in your HR career, or an experienced HR professional seeking a new challenge.
Working closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and wider HR teams, you will support a broad range of operational HR activities and projects, gaining exposure across the full employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR administrative, operational and project support to HR Business Partners and the wider HR team.
- Offer guidance and support to employees and managers on day-to-day HR matters.
- Support onboarding, induction and employee exit processes.
- Assist with immigration and global mobility activities.
- Support recruitment processes and hiring activities.
- Provide time, attendance and payroll support.
- Assist with disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Coordinate meetings, site visits and HR events.
- Manage HR data, reporting, audits and surveys.
- Coordinate long service award processes.
- Support various HR projects and business initiatives.
