The successful candidate will play a key role in managing employee relations, supporting workforce planning, overseeing HR processes and ensuring the smooth delivery of ongoing people initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to senior leaders, managers and employees, providing guidance on a broad range of people-related matters.
- Independently manage employee relations cases, including performance management, disciplinary matters, grievances and absence management.
- Support performance management processes, including objective setting, employee reviews and performance evaluations.
- Partner with management on workforce planning, organisational development and structural changes.
- Provide recruitment and talent acquisition support, working closely with hiring managers and external recruitment partners.
- Coach and advise line managers on HR policies, employee relations and people management best practices.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, helping to improve workplace culture and employee experience.
- Maintain accurate HR records, prepare reports and analyse workforce data to support business decisions.
- Ensure HR practices and procedures comply with Irish employment legislation and internal policies.
- Manage and support payroll administration and processing for employees in Ireland.
- Assist with HR information system improvements, upgrades or potential platform migrations.
- Take ownership of ongoing HR projects and initiatives, ensuring continuity and successful delivery throughout the contract.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in a Senior HR Business Partner, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist position.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering, industrial or multi-site environment would be highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex employee relations matters.
- Experience supporting payroll administration and processing.
- Familiarity with HR information systems, including system implementation, upgrades or migration projects.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence working directly with senior leadership and advising managers at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A CIPD qualification or equivalent HR qualification would be desirable.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take on a varied and influential role within an established organisation.
The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, close collaboration with senior leadership and the opportunity to contribute to both operational HR activities and wider business initiatives.
