Following major investments and continued growth at our Pikkala plant, we are looking for an HR Business Partner, Payroll & Reporting to join our HR team. This is an opportunity to combine payroll expertise, analytics, compliance, and business partnership in a dynamic international environment where your work will have a direct impact on both people and business performance.
Your Job
- Own and coordinate payroll processes for monthly salaried employees, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery.
- Act as the main point of contact for payroll-related matters, working closely with employees, managers, and external payroll providers.
- Drive continuous improvement of payroll processes, controls, and data quality.
- Lead HR reporting and workforce analytics, delivering meaningful insights to support business decisions.
- Analyze payroll and workforce data to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and workforce metrics for HR and business leaders.
- Support expatriate and international mobility matters, ensuring compliance with local legislation, tax requirements, and company policies.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders to support workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.
- Contribute to delivering an outstanding employee experience through high-quality HR support and guidance.
Your Experience
- Proven experience in payroll administration and payroll process ownership.
- Strong knowledge of Finnish labor legislation and collective agreements.
- Experience working with external payroll providers and HR systems.
- Advanced Excel skills and a strong capability to analyze and interpret data.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, hands-on, and continuous improvement mindset.
- Fluent in Finnish and English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with expatriate payroll, mobility, and international taxation.
- Experience within manufacturing, industrial, or operational environments.
- Knowledge of the Technology Industry Collective Agreement (Teknologiateollisuuden työehtosopimus).
- Experience with HR analytics, workforce planning, and reporting.
