About the Position

ICPS is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Communications Officer to join our HR communications department and support our global mission. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to key communication functions within the Human Resources department, playing an essential part in maintaining efficient and effective internal and external communications.

As an HRCO, you will be responsible for ensuring that HR-related communications are clear, consistent, and well-coordinated across various organisational units with responsibilities divided into Internal and External functions. According to your choice, you shall be appointed to one of the two divisions and you will work closely with the Human Resources Communications Manager.


  • External Affairs: This role is directly involved in the recruitment process, managing active communication with candidates. You will be responsible for sending interview invitations, responding to candidate inquiries, and providing necessary updates regarding their application status. As this is a fast-paced function, external communications are handled daily during weekdays, ensuring a seamless experience for potential recruits.
  • Internal Affairs: This role focuses on maintaining clear and structured communication within the organisation. You will be responsible for managing internal emails, addressing member inquiries related to policies, contracts, and organisational roles. Unlike the external function, internal communication is handled regularly as inquiries arise, ensuring that members receive timely and accurate information on HR-related topics. Your role will also include tracking and maintaining records related to team activities, such as vacation requests, absences, training participation, and contract to help ICPS succeed in their HR functions.


Key Responsibilities

External Communication Path

  • Handle daily candidate communication, including inviting candidates for interviews, responding to inquiries, and providing updates on their application status during weekdays. Ensure timely and clear communication with potential recruits to maintain a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.


Internal Communication Path

  • Manage internal emails, responding to queries from organisation members regarding policies, contract matters, role-related inquiries, or any other HR-related topics. Ensure regular communication with internal stakeholders, addressing issues or providing guidance as needed.


Collaboration and Reporting

  • Report to the HR Communications Manager, providing regular updates on internal and external communication trends, challenges, and any notable issues that arise. Collaborate with HR leadership to ensure consistent and clear messaging across internal and external communication channels.

    Problem-Solving and Internal Coordination

    • Ability to address internal queries related to HR policies and contracts, providing clear and accurate information to members. Strong problem-solving skills to manage both internal and external communication challenges as they arise.



    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline required, with a minimum of four years of relevant professional experience in communications. Alternatively, a Master’s degree with at least two years of demonstrated experience in a comparable role will be considered.
    • Full professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
    • Demonstrated expertise across both external and internal communication functions, including managing candidate-facing recruitment communications and responding to internal stakeholder inquiries with clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.
    • Proven track record of delivering a high-quality candidate experience through timely, structured, and responsive communication, alongside the ability to support internal stakeholders with precise and policy-aligned guidance.
    • Strong operational command of communication tools and platforms, including email systems, chat applications, and document management solutions, with the ability to track, manage, and report communication flows and related data effectively.
    • Demonstrated adaptability and responsiveness to dynamic communication needs, with the capacity to manage shifting priorities while maintaining service quality and timeliness.
    • High degree of organisational discipline, with the ability to manage concurrent communication streams, prioritise effectively, and maintain consistency and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
    • Comfortable with part-time commitment, contributing 8–10 hours (20%) per week, with availability for remote work, selecting your own working hours.
    • A motivational and empathetic leadership style, with a commitment to fostering inclusivity, integrity, and excellence. Strong interpersonal skills to inspire trust and credibility within the organization.
