Human Resources Strategy Consultant Flex HR — Remote (Preference for Atlanta or Chicago) Flex HR is a full‑service Human Resources outsourcing firm supporting growing organizations across the United States. We are seeking a self‑directed, experienced HR Strategy Consultant to develop, implement, and optimize HR strategy and administration for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role is fully remote, with ideal proximity to Atlanta, GA or Chicago, IL for occasional collaboration. Responsibilities Develop and update employee handbooks and HR policies for clients Conduct comprehensive benefits audits and recommend improvements Build and maintain organizational charts and workforce planning tools Define, track, and analyze HR‑related KPIs Create and support ongoing employee growth and development plans Manage onboarding and offboarding processes Administer and track leaves of absence Partner with managers on disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans Ensure HR compliance across multiple states and regulatory environments Optimize existing HR technology and support implementation of new systems Qualifications Ideally operate as an independent consultant with an established LLC Remote role; proximity to Atlanta or Chicago is preferred but not required Bachelor’s degree or equivalent HR experience 15+ years of progressive Human Resources experience Strong ability to prioritize, manage workload, and balance client needs Exceptional organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills High attention to detail and sound judgment
