Job Purposes The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting employees throughout the employment lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to engagement, learning, development, and day-to-day employee support, working closely with the Senior HR Business Partner. In this varied HR Generalist role, you will primarily support our Canada and USA teams while also gaining exposure to wider regional and global HR activity. You will work across multiple areas of HR, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, benefits, immigration and mobility, employee relations, and HR operations, helping to deliver a positive, compliant, and consistent employee experience. The HR Generalist will be trusted to manage important HR processes and personnel data for North America, support recruitment and benefits administration, contribute to Learning and Development initiatives, and take part in projects that make a meaningful impact on employees and the business. The postholder will be required to support global recruitment and tasks in other regions as required. Responsibilities HR Frameworks and Tools - Contribute to the drafting of HR frameworks and tools for recruitment, performance management, development, career and succession planning, compensation and benefits, diversity, employee onboarding and offboarding, and retention of talent, within an area of expertise, ensuring compliance with specified design principles, internal policies, and external legal requirements. Deliver upon HR Frameworks and enable the attraction, development, and retention of talent at a sustainable cost. HR Data Management - Contribute to the development and testing of HR data collection forms or questionnaires in a specific area of expertise to ensure the collection of relevant data in line with defined requirements. HR Data Analytics and Insights - Deliver complex analyses of HR data; identify key trends and contribute to the creation of HR insights that enable the diagnosis of business issues, enhancement of employee engagement, and/or improvement of business performance. Information and Business Advice - Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving queries and issues and referring very complex or contentious issues to HR Business Partners. Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level experience in a related field General Experience: Experience in HR administrative and generalist duties, secretarial and/or administrative support in a similar team environment with ability to work unsupervised. Good knowledge of HR policies and procedures with a basic understanding of employment law. Must be PC proficient in key packages such as: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and experience of using HR databases/ systems. Workday HCM experience preferred.
