Human Resources Generalist
Position Summary
Omnicom Production is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide mid-level operational support to the HR Generalist team. As a member of the HR team, you will work collaboratively with HR Directors, business leaders and cross-functional HR teams to support business objectives and enhance the employee experience.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative HR professional with strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. This individual will support day-to-day HR operations, employee lifecycle activities, HR programs, and special projects while building strong relationships with employees and business leaders across the organization.
The Salary for this role is $67K–$83K
This is a hybrid position, 3 days a week in New York or Chicago
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with HR Directors to assess organizational needs, develop program ideas, and implement HR initiatives that align with business strategy and organizational goals.
- Supports HR Directors in servicing their client base and providing day-to-day HR support.
- Provides guidance and support to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, programs, and employee-related matters.
- Drafts broad-based employee communications, correspondence, presentations, and HR-related materials.
- Conducts exit interviews and supports the employee offboarding process, including documentation, coordination, and analysis of feedback.
- Facilitates employee orientation and onboarding processes to ensure a positive and consistent new-hire experience.
- Coordinates employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, internal transfers, promotions, leaves of absence, and offboarding.
- Analyzes employee turnover information and compiles exit interview data to identify trends and provide meaningful insights to HR leadership.
- Supports the Performance Management process, including communications, timelines, logistics, tracking, and follow-up.
- Supports employee engagement, integration, recognition, and morale-building initiatives.
- Assists with the administration and coordination of HR programs, policies, and initiatives across the organization.
- Maintains accurate, organized, and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Supports HR reporting and data analysis, including headcount, turnover, employee demographics, performance management, and other key HR metrics.
- Partners with other HR pillars and cross-functional teams to ensure a holistic understanding and coordinated delivery of HR solutions.
- Identifies opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and the overall employee experience.
- Supports the development and delivery of HR communications, training materials, presentations, and employee resources.
- Assists with special projects and organizational initiatives as assigned by HR leadership.
- Ensures consistent application of HR policies and practices and escalates complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR leadership.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive employee and organizational information.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of practical work experience, preferably in Human Resources.
- Working knowledge of general HR practices, policies, and services.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong follow-through and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and adapt to changing business needs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems or related technology preferred
$67K–$83K
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
