We enable digital businesses to scale with high performance and reliability by providing connectivity, IP Transit, private networks, data centers, bare metal, and cloud solutions to ISPs, hyperscalers, content providers, and global technology companies.
Through our own infrastructure platform and strategic interconnection with major global hubs, we deliver low latency, security, and operational resilience across the Americas and beyond.
Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on HR Generalist with a generalist background to manage and execute People processes across the employee lifecycle, supporting our teams across Latin America.
The role combines recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, employee support, personnel administration, payroll and benefits coordination, performance management, and culture and engagement initiatives. You will take ownership of assigned processes and work closely with People leadership, managers, Finance, Legal, and external providers to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely execution.
Success requires strong organization, sound judgment, and the ability to balance recurring operational responsibilities with hiring needs and People projects. Priorities and country assignments will be defined with People leadership according to business needs.
You should be comfortable using AI and digital tools in your daily work to improve documentation, reporting, and process efficiency while protecting confidential information and validating outputs.
Key Responsibilities
1. People Operations and Employee Lifecycle
- Coordinate onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding for assigned countries and contract models, working with People colleagues, Legal, Finance, IT, and local providers.
- Prepare and maintain employment and contractor documentation, coordinate orientations, and help new hires understand company policies and processes.
- Track probation periods, vacations, leave, and other employee lifecycle deadlines, ensuring timely follow-up with employees and managers.
- Maintain complete and accurate employee records and coordinate the administrative steps required for a consistent employee experience.
2. Recruitment and Selection
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles, aligning role requirements, selection criteria, timelines, and approved compensation ranges with hiring managers.
- Source candidates through appropriate channels and conduct structured interviews, including language and role-related assessments where relevant.
- Coordinate interview stages, consolidate feedback, conduct reference checks, and provide clear recommendations to support hiring decisions.
- Prepare and communicate offers within approved parameters, manage candidate expectations, and coordinate the transition from offer acceptance to onboarding.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and provide hiring pipeline updates, highlighting progress, delays, and decisions needed.
3. Payroll and Benefits Coordination
- Collect, validate, and submit payroll inputs for assigned populations, including admissions, departures, leave, compensation changes, and other approved adjustments.
- Coordinate payroll reviews and resolve discrepancies with providers, Finance, and People leadership within established deadlines.
- Administer benefit enrollments, changes, and cancellations, and respond to routine employee and vendor inquiries.
- Maintain supporting records and escalate regulatory or contractual questions to the appropriate internal specialists or external advisers.
4. Performance and Employee Development
- Coordinate the operational execution of performance review cycles, including system setup, communications, completion tracking, and follow-up.
- Guide employees and managers on review processes and tools, and consolidate information for People leadership.
- Organize training and development initiatives, including scheduling, participant communication, attendance, and feedback collection.
- Support job descriptions, job leveling, and compensation reviews through accurate records, data collection, and analysis.
5. Employee Support, Culture, and Engagement
- Serve as a first point of contact for employees and managers on routine People policies, processes, and requests, ensuring timely responses and follow-through.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and escalate employee relations matters to People leadership when appropriate.
- Coordinate engagement surveys, culture initiatives, and internal People communications, consolidating feedback and tracking agreed actions.
- Identify recurring employee concerns and opportunities to improve the employee experience, and propose practical improvements.
6. People Systems, Reporting, and Process Improvement
- Maintain accurate employee, candidate, and process records in HR systems such as BambooHR and other People platforms.
- Prepare recurring People reports and indicators covering headcount, hiring, employee movements, and completion of key People processes.
- Keep policies, templates, process guides, and approval records organized and up to date.
- Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and use AI or automation to reduce repetitive work, improve data quality, and support reliable execution.
- Validate AI-generated content and analyses, follow company data-handling guidelines, and retain human judgment in decisions involving people.
Requirements
- English proficiency at B2 level or above, with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings and in writing.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a generalist HR role, combining end-to-end recruitment with direct responsibility for employee lifecycle processes and HR operations.
- Practical experience executing recurring activities beyond recruitment, such as personnel administration, payroll and benefits coordination, performance cycles, or employee support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Brazilian HR practices and labor requirements, with sound judgment on when to seek specialist guidance.
- Experience using HR systems and spreadsheets to maintain records, track deadlines, and produce reports.
- Practical experience using AI tools in a professional context for drafting, organizing information, analysis, or process improvement, with appropriate validation and confidentiality practices.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize concurrent responsibilities and follow through on commitments.
- Clear communication, a service-oriented approach, and discretion when handling sensitive employee and business information.
Preferred Qualifications

- Professional development and opportunities to improve processes and contribute to People initiatives.
- A collaborative, execution-focused environment where ownership, sound judgment, and continuous improvement are valued.
