Position Overview

About the role

We're looking for a highly organized, proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our People & Culture team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our people processes across the entire candidate and employee lifecycle. You'll coordinate recruitment process, employee administration, benefits and HRIS while partnering closely with local People & Culture Manager, global People team, hiring managers, employees and external vendors.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with systems, improving processes and delivering an exceptional candidate and employee experience behind the scenes

Job Responsibilities

What you'll do

Employee Lifecycle, Benefits & Payroll Support

  • You will manage the full employee lifecycle through accurate record-keeping, HR system updates (Paylocity, UKG), and timely maintenance of personnel files — ensuring all documentation stays compliant, complete, and current.
  • Your day-to-day will include preparing employment contracts, amendments, and related documentation, coordinating signatures, and supporting leave and time-off administration.
  • You will also coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities and partner with our Occupational Health & Safety provider to keep the organization compliant.
  • You will administer employee benefits programs (ThanksBen) — including private medical insurance, life insurance, meal vouchers, and sport cards — managing enrolments, changes, and terminations across benefits platforms while supporting invoice reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.
  • Working closely with external providers, insurance brokers, and vendors, you will assist with annual benefits renewal and enrolment processes and initiate vendor onboarding requests in line with company procedures.
  • You will also support payroll administration by gathering and processing new hire, termination, and employee change information.

People Systems & Process Excellence

  • You will maintain accurate, high-quality data across HR and recruitment systems, ensuring information is complete, current, and consistent.
  • You will identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and administrative workflows, and support the implementation of new tools, initiatives, and operational projects.
  • Working closely with the wider People team, you will contribute to continuously improving both the employee and candidate experience.

Recruitment Coordination

  • You will manage candidate records and recruitment workflows within our ATS (iCIMS), publishing and closing job postings across platforms, preparing recruitment reports, and maintaining accurate ATS data.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, you will coordinate scheduling with hiring managers, send interview invitations and instructions, and follow up with interviewers to ensure timely feedback.
  • You will also support preboarding activities for successful candidates, ensuring a smooth transition from offer to their first day.

Candidate Profile

  • You bring 3+ years of experience in a People operations or HR generalist role, with solid knowledge of Bulgarian Employment law and hands-on experience supporting both recruitment coordination and payroll administration.
  • You are confident working across HRIS and ATS, and comfortable navigating multiple digital tools and platforms. You are an excellent user of Excel.
  • Your organizational skills are strong — you manage competing priorities with ease while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • You communicate clearly and professionally in English, both in writing and verbally, and hold yourself to a high standard of service in every interaction.
  • Above all, you have a proactive mindset and a genuine passion for process improvement and operational excellence.
