Role Overview

We need an energetic, detail-oriented HR Generalist who thrives on making an impact. You'll own and partner on HR programs that shape employee experience across North America. If you can juggle priorities with urgency, think strategically about people challenges, and aren't afraid to get creative, this is your role. The HR Generalist role will be hybrid, based in NY and will require 1-2 days/week in our Manhattan office
As a key member of the North America People team, you'll help bridge strategic HR priorities and operational excellence, allowing HR Business Partners to remain focused on business strategy while ensuring the successful delivery of talent and employee experience initiatives.
This is a Hybrid position located in a hub location of New York City, NY. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis, typically 1-2 days per week. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to this location and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

Position Details

What You'll Own

Employee Lifecycle Leadership

• Onboarding & Integration: Drive first-day experiences and manager readiness. Identify gaps, coach, and continuously improve

• Transitions & Offboarding: Manage employee moves, organizational changes, and departures with care and smart project management

• Trusted Advisor: Be the go-to resource for HRBPs, managers, and employees on lifecycle matters—responsive, thoughtful, and discreet

• Spot Trends & Solve Problems: Notice patterns, ask the right questions, recommend scalable solutions

Strategic Partnership & TA Liaison

• Bridge TA and hiring managers—ensure both sides have what they need to succeed

• Drive organizational changes, workforce planning, and restructures independently

• Partner with HRBPs on strategy and execution; be a thought partner, not just a task executor

• Anticipate risks, flag issues early, and develop action plans

• First point of contact for employee relations and the liaison with our compliance team

Annual People Programs

• Own North America coordination of performance management, goal setting, talent reviews, succession planning, compensation cycles, engagement surveys, and recognition programs

• Drive readiness, communication, participation, and measure effectiveness

Workforce Analytics & Insights

• Translate data on attrition, performance, engagement, and talent outcomes into actionable insights

• Build compelling dashboards and PP presentations that influence decisions

• Strong Excel skills required; comfort with AI tools to work smarter is a plus

Process Improvement & Operations

• Simplify workflows, automate where possible, drive efficiency

• Connect leaders to the information and training they need

What We're Looking For

Experience & Skills:

• 4+ years (we’d love more!) progressive HR experience (employee lifecycle, talent, operations)

• Proven ability to lead independently with minimal direction

• Strong business acumen; connect people strategies to outcomes

• Project management excellence; detail-oriented; organized

• Strong Excel skills and comfort with HR systems—good use of AI tools

• Data interpretation and storytelling—translate insights into action

What Makes You Different:

• Sense of Urgency: You move quickly, prioritize well, act decisively

• Responsiveness: You reply promptly and follow through

• Curious: You ask good questions, stay current on trends, suggest new approaches

• Fun & Engaging: You bring positive energy; you make HR feel human, not bureaucratic

• Deck Building: You create clear, compelling presentations and dashboards

Why You'll Thrive Here

• Real autonomy to shape how we bring people in and develop them

• Your analytical skills are valued; data-driven decisions are the norm

• You'll build things—programs, processes, insights—and see the impact

• Work with a team committed to genuine employee experience

• Constant variety; no repetition

• True ownership of programs + mentorship to help you succeed
