HR Manager

Wrocław | Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days remote | Full-time

Salary: 12,000–15,000 PLN gross / UoP

Working hours: 8:00–16:00 or 9:00–17:00

About the client

We are recruiting on behalf of an international company operating in the creative and commercial content production industry.

The Wrocław operation is a highly dynamic studio environment delivering large-scale photo and content production projects for major international brands. The organisation employs around 50 people locally and works with a broader flexible workforce including photographers, models, production staff, logistics teams and contractors.

The business operates 24/7, seven days a week, which creates a fast-moving and operationally demanding HR environment with multiple employment and cooperation models.

This is not a heavily corporate or highly systemised HR environment. The company is looking for someone who enjoys building structure, solving day-to-day problems and taking ownership rather than working within already established processes.

Role overview

We are looking for a hands-on HR Manager who will take broad ownership of the HR function in Poland. The role would particularly suit someone coming from a fast-paced operational environment such as production, logistics, retail, hospitality, e-commerce, creative production or a growing SME, where HR requires flexibility, pragmatism and the ability to handle several priorities simultaneously.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment processes across operational and specialist positions
  • Coordinating interviews, offers and onboarding
  • Building and maintaining candidate pipelines
  • Supporting managers with workforce planning and recruitment decisions
  • Taking ownership of day-to-day HR operations for the Polish organisation
  • Managing employee and contractor documentation throughout the full lifecycle
  • Preparing and coordinating different types of contracts, including UoP, B2B and civil law contracts
  • Supporting managers and employees with day-to-day HR matters
  • Coordinating onboarding, changes during employment and offboarding
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant HR documentation
  • Coordinating monthly data and documentation with the external payroll provider
  • Ensuring correct information flow for payroll processing
  • Supporting compliance with Polish labour regulations
  • Reviewing existing HR practices and identifying areas for improvement
  • Introducing practical processes, standards and documentation
  • Helping management professionalise the HR function as the organisation develops

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of broad HR experience, ideally in a generalist, HR Manager, HR Operations or HR Business Partner role
  • Strong hands-on experience with recruitment and day-to-day HR operations
  • Good understanding of different cooperation models: UoP, B2B and civil law contracts
  • Experience working in a fast-paced organisation
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of HR topics from start to finish
  • Practical and solution-oriented approach
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good command of English for communication within an international organisation

Strong advantage

  • Experience from production, logistics, retail, hospitality, e-commerce, creative production or another 24/7 / operational environment
  • Experience supporting a workforce consisting of both employees and contractors
  • Experience introducing or improving HR processes in a growing organisation
