About The Role
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to support our expanding U.S. operations from India. This strategic HR role involves overseeing recruiting, employee relations, HR compliance, policy implementation, and supporting our U.S.-based workforce. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working with U.S. companies, possess a deep understanding of U.S. employment practices, and be capable of researching and interpreting federal and state labor regulations as necessary.
This position offers a long-term remote work arrangement, enabling the HR Manager to work closely with the leadership team during U.S. business hours. The role provides an excellent opportunity to influence HR strategies, enhance employee engagement, and contribute to the growth of our U.S. operations while working from India.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a combination of education, experience, and skills including:
- Proven experience supporting U.S.-based companies in an HR capacity
- Strong understanding of U.S. HR practices and employment lifecycle management
- Familiarity with U.S. labor laws, compliance requirements, or the ability to research and interpret them effectively
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition processes
- Expertise in employee onboarding, offboarding, and documentation
- Ability to develop, implement, and review HR policies and procedures
- Experience supporting performance management initiatives and employee engagement programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and problem-solve effectively
- Knowledge of HRIS, ATS, and other recruitment platforms is preferred
- Relevant HR certifications such as SHRM, HRCI, or similar are advantageous
- Valid U.S. visa and willingness to travel to the United States is a plus but not mandatory
Responsibilities
The HR Manager will be responsible for a broad range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Managing the entire recruitment lifecycle for U.S.-based positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating candidate assessments
- Preparing offer letters, negotiating employment terms, and coordinating onboarding processes to ensure a seamless candidate experience
- Maintaining comprehensive employee records and HR documentation in compliance with applicable laws
- Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance
- Supporting employee relations by addressing concerns professionally and facilitating conflict resolution
- Researching and interpreting U.S. labor laws and employment regulations to ensure organizational compliance
- Monitoring HR practices to ensure adherence to federal and state employment standards
- Coordinating performance reviews, probation evaluations, and employee development initiatives to foster growth and engagement
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information at all times
- Collaborating with management on organizational planning and workforce needs
- Supporting payroll processes and HR administration tasks as required
- Assisting in employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive company culture, and promoting a productive work environment
- Preparing HR reports, recruitment analytics, and workforce metrics to inform strategic decisions
