Seasalt began in 1981 with a small shop in Penzance, selling workwear to local mariners and practical overalls to artists. Today, we’ve grown into a thriving omnichannel retailer with over 80 UK and Ireland stores, 400+ wholesale stockists, and a growing international and online footprint.

As a B Corp and winner of both Drapers “Best Place to Work” and CIPD’s “Best Recognition Programme”, we care deeply about our people, our communities and our long-term impact. Our Head Office teams provide the foundations that empower our people to drive sustainable growth across the UK and international markets.

You’ll play an important role in ensuring our systems run smoothly, our employee data is accurate and our managers have the information they need to make informed decisions. From improving processes and reducing manual tasks to developing reports and supporting system upgrades, you’ll help us make the most of our technology.

Working closely with colleagues across Human Resources, Payroll, Technology and other departments, you’ll have the opportunity to build system and reporting improvements, support digital projects and help shape how we work. You’ll also provide training and guidance to colleagues, ensuring they feel confident using our systems.

This role is offered as a full time, permanent contract. Please note, as part of our Seasalt Connected approach to ways of working, this role will be based flexibly across our Cornwall head office locations (minimum 40% of working week but the nature of some roles may require more working time in our head offices) and remotely within the UK.

You’ll help us by

  • Keeping employee and organisational data in Dayforce accurate and up to date.

  • Supporting system administration, including user access, security, organisational structures, jobs and workflows.

  • Creating and maintaining reports and management information using Dayforce and Excel.

  • Analysing data to identify trends and provide useful insights, while handling information in line with data protection requirements.

  • Responding to HR Systems queries, resolving issues where possible and escalating when needed.

  • Creating clear process guides, user instructions and other documentation to support colleagues.

  • Helping colleagues build their confidence using Dayforce and supporting user training where needed.

  • Supporting system upgrades by carrying out testing, identifying issues and considering their impact.

  • Working with colleagues to identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working.

  • Taking ownership of relevant projects and supporting the wider People Team as required.

The skills you’ll be sharing with the team

  • Experience working with systems, ideally within HR, or a role involving working with data and processes, Microsoft Excel, and creating documentation such as user guides.

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Strong planning, time management and problem-solving skills.

  • Confident using Excel to analyse data, including formulas such as lookups.

  • Comfortable communicating with end users and colleagues across the business

  • High level of confidentiality and integrity.

  • Strong Initiative, proactively finding tools and opportunities to build your skills

  • Experience of Dayforce and SQL would be desirable.
