Job Summary The Human Resources & Talent Operations Specialist supports key HR functions, including full-cycle recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, FMLA and leave management, workers' compensation coordination, and employee record management. This position serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers while helping ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices. Benefits & Compensation We offer a competitive benefits package, which includes: Pay Range: $23-30/hourly Potential for some Hybrid work Health, Dental and Vision insurance with employer contributions Short-and Long-Term Disability coverage 12 paid Holidays Paid Time Off & Sick Time Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 403(b) retirement plan with employer contribution Qualifications Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered 1-3 years of human resources experience, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, or employee support Knowledge of FMLA, workers' compensation, ADA, and related employment laws Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality Experience with Microsoft Office and HR systems, including HRIS, ATS, or benefits administration platform Responsibilities and Scope Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates Partner with hiring managers to develop hiring strategies and support workforce needs Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientations, and employee documentation Support employee offboarding activities, including exit documentation and process coordination Assist with employee benefit enrollments, changes, and general benefits inquiries Administer and track FMLA and other leave requests and required documentation Coordinate workers' compensation claims and communication with insurance carriers Maintain accurate and confidential employee records throughout the employee lifecycle Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies and procedures Support HR compliance initiatives and employment-related documentation Morrison Center is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to provide comprehensive, individualized support services to children and adults with developmental disabilities.
