About the role

As AUTODOC continues to scale its operations across Europe, our business processes and People & Culture structures are continuously evolving. To keep pace with this dynamic environment, we need to adapt our systems, rethink our existing implementations, and design solutions that scale effectively across our global organization.

To achieve this goal, we are hiring an HRIS Product Owner to manage, configure, and maintain our Workday ecosystem — focusing on HCM, Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Advanced Compensation.

In this role, you will analyze complex People & Culture requirements and determine whether solutions can be delivered directly within Workday or require integration with external systems. Operating with high autonomy in a flexible Jira-driven environment, you will translate business needs into scalable technical architecture and drive continuous system improvements.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive problem solver to take end-to-end ownership of critical HR technology in a fast-growing e-commerce leader. You will directly influence how our people processes run, optimize workflows, and bring innovative solutions to life for thousands of AUTODOCers across Europe.

What you will do

  • Configure and maintain Workday functional areas, including HCM, Job Architecture, Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Advanced Compensation.
  • Analyze People & Culture business requirements, evaluate system feasibility, and design scalable technical solutions both inside and outside of Workday.
  • Manage business process security policies, domain security policies, and user/role-based access controls in accordance with company standards.
  • Partner with People & Culture stakeholders, Finance, and cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into clear system deliverables and Jira project roadmaps.
  • Ensure robust data integrity and quality control across systems through rigorous testing, audit routines, and workflow improvements.
  • Provide end-user support across Time Tracking and Absence Management, resolving tickets efficiently within agreed timelines.
  • Champion continuous improvement and engagement with HR tools, identifying opportunities to optimize functionality and enhance employee experience.

What you bring to the role

  • At least 2 years of hands-on Workday administration and configuration experience (5+ years in HRIS environments preferred).
  • Strong technical background in Core Workday HCM.
  • Demonstrated expertise or functional working knowledge in at least one key module: Time Tracking, Absence Management, or Advanced Compensation.
  • Proven ability to design end-to-end technical solutions and look beyond out-of-the-box system constraints to solve complex business challenges.
  • Solid understanding of Workday security frameworks, including domain and business process security policies.
  • Experience working in an agile environment utilizing Jira for task, project, and ticket management.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical business partners.
  • Fluent in English with excellent problem-solving and self-management capabilities.

  • Fast growing international company with stable employment.
  • Annual vacation of 30 days and 1 additional day off on your birthday.
  • Mental Wellbeing Program – providing you and your immediate family members with free and confidential mental and physical health support services for a wide range of personal and work-related issues.
  • AUTODOC Corporate Discount to order parts for their own use at special discounted rates.
  • Retail discounts of up to 75% on travel, technology, fashion and much more.
  • Opportunities for advancement, further trainings (over 650 courses on soft and hard skills on our e-learning platform) and coaching.
  • Free English and German language classes.
  • Flexible working hours and hybrid work.
  • Company pension scheme (Betriebliche Altersvorsorge mit Allianz)
