Galileo Global Education HUB (Hungarian Bureau) is a daughter company of the GGE Group and offers a diverse package of dedicated IT services to support our „internal” clients: Schools, Business units and Support functions, in both their Digital Transformation and daily IT operations by spearheading, supporting and managing their efforts through IT project managers, technical professionals and software developer experts.
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced HRIS Workday Expert to join our international HRIS team. We are open to external consultant or 6-month fixed term employee. This is a part-time (20h) remote role with close collaboration across global HR teams as well as local colleagues in GGE HUB.
You will play a key role in supporting, optimizing, and developing our Workday environment, partnering with HR, Payroll, Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, and IT stakeholders to deliver efficient, user-focused HR processes.
Mission
Mission 1 – Customer Support: Deliver high-quality support and ensure an excellent user experience for Workday stakeholders.
- Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted partner to: HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Recruitment teams
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
- Ensure structured planning and timely delivery of HRIS initiatives and requests.
- Support and maintain key Workday processes, including:
- Employee data management
- Recruitment
- Performance Management
- Core HCM processes
- Provide Level 2 (L2) support: Investigate and resolve issues, coordinate improvements and enhancements, escalate complex cases when required
Mission 2 – Workday Development & HR Projects: Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the global Workday ecosystem.
- Key Responsibilities
- Support HR Teams with the Global HR Information System (Workday): become a key user of Workday to support the teams in their local implementation.
- Adjusting existing business processes(HCM, Recruiting, Performance), notification or reports
- Implement new business processes
- Load data to Workday
- Create new organisations
- Solve L2 request coming through Jira
- Participate actively in regular meeting with Local HR
Mission 3 – Data Quality: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of HR data.
- Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and ensure data quality on employee’s profiles: personal data, bank details, career information (CV), personal photo, emergency contacts, etc.
Mission 4 – Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Support broader HR initiatives and promote best practices across the organization.
- Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, update, or translate HR presentations and documentation.
- Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across international teams.
- Support HR teams in understanding Workday capabilities and requirements.
- Drive process standardization and continuous improvement.
Contribute to change management and user adoption initiatives.
Required Profile
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
Experience
- Proven experience working with Workday HRIS.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
- Previous experience supporting Workday HCM and related modules.
Skills & Competencies
- Understanding of HR process such as: contracts, payroll performance, recruiting, compensation and onboarding
- High rigor and details orientation

- Digital native person, at ease with IT counterparts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Good influencing skills
- Good curiosity to HRIS solutions, Workday)
- Good technical and change experience of an HRIS environment
- Previous experience in Workday HCM, Recruitment and Performance or Absence or Advanced Compensation or Talent or Time Tracking or Report Writer would be a plus
Language Competencies
- Fluent English is required
- Fluent Spanish would be a great advantage
