About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HubSpot Email Marketing Specialist / Developer to build, QA, deploy, and optimize high-performing marketing emails in HubSpot.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who combines strong email marketing knowledge with technical expertise in HubSpot, HTML/CSS, and HubL.

You will work closely with marketing, design, and content teams to transform campaign briefs into responsive, personalized, and high-performing email experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and configure marketing emails in HubSpot Marketing Hub using both the drag-and-drop editor and custom HTML/HubL templates.
• Create and maintain reusable, modular email templates and custom modules.
• Implement personalization tokens, smart content, dynamic modules, and audience segmentation.
• Build responsive HTML emails for HubSpot and third-party email sends.
• Set up and QA one-time campaigns, nurture sequences, and automated workflows.
• Test emails across Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, mobile devices, and other major email clients.
• Perform complete pre-send QA, including links, UTMs, personalization, rendering, accessibility, and spam checks.
• Create and manage A/B tests for subject lines, CTAs, layouts, preview text, and send times.
• Monitor email deliverability, bounce rates, spam complaints, engagement, and sender reputation.
• Track email performance through HubSpot dashboards and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
• Use HubSpot AI tools, including Breeze, to improve production efficiency and campaign optimization.
• Maintain documentation and best practices around templates, testing, audience segments, and campaign performance.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying marketing emails in HubSpot Marketing Hub.
• Strong experience with HubSpot's email builder, custom modules, and HubL templating language.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email, including inline styling and table-based layouts.
• Experience building responsive emails that render correctly across Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, and mobile devices.
• Experience with HubSpot workflows, lists, lifecycle stages, personalization, and contact properties.
• Strong understanding of email QA and testing processes.
• Experience with A/B testing and interpreting email performance data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• HubSpot Marketing Software and/or Email Marketing certifications.
• Experience with Litmus, Email on Acid, or similar QA tools.
• Understanding of email deliverability, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, list hygiene, and sender reputation.
• Experience integrating HubSpot with Salesforce, Zapier, Make, or other platforms.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards for email.
• Basic experience with Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
