Starting wage: $25.00 per hour

The Human Resources (HR) Administrative Assistant is the heartbeat of the Human Resources Department. They handle various clerical tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, faxes, and efficiently organizing and filing documents. Additionally, they expertly input data into ADP, ensuring smooth operations. They are a listening ear, always ready to answer calls and respond to emails that carry the dreams of countless individuals seeking opportunities.

Your Daily Focus:

  • Aid employees by offering information and addressing their inquiries regarding HR-related matters.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including the aptitude to handle delicate and confidential matters with sensitivity, professionalism, and discretion
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Handle Background Check requests for new hires through UKG Select Screening
  • Accurately inputting all pay increases and terminations into the Unified Knowledge Gateway (UKG) system, while also generating required reports.
  • Provide assistance to the Human Resource team in a variety of projects as instructed, in order to contribute to the overall achievements of the HR department and the company.
  • Ensure that employee files and the HR filing system are kept in an organized manner.
  • Help the Benefit Administrator with tasks such as enrollment, reporting, and benchmarking.
  • Keep track of measurements that align with the goals of the HR department.
  • Maintain the HRIS database and generate reports as scheduled or requested to assist management.
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
  • Aid in the efficient day-to-day operation of the HR Department
  • Collaborate with the HR Leadership team on various projects aimed at improving overall efficiencies.
  • Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Suite or similar software.

What Catches our Attention:

  • An associate degree in HR or a business-related field, or those with two years of experience in HR or related fields.
  • Knowledge of HR Generalist functions is also desirable.
  • A motivated and independent individual who takes initiative and can easily adjust to changing situations, while also being able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Clear and concise communications skills: interpersonal, written and verbal.

Physical Demands and Work Environment (per ADA guidelines):

  • Physical Activity: Standing for sustained periods of time, Stooping, Grasping, Lifting, Talking, Hearing.
  • Physical requirements: Light work. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular basis from floor to waist, 5 lbs. from waist to shoulder, and 5 lbs. from shoulder to overhead.
  • The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
