Are you ready for a career shift with an expanding company?
Remote Role
Schedule: Monday thru Thursday (32 hours per week)
Starting wage: $25.00 per hour
At Bridgeview Eye Partners, we’re looking for an organized, service-minded HR and Benefits Administrator to help employees navigate their benefits and leaves of absence with confidence.
In this remote role, you’ll support open enrollment, lead day-to-day leave-of-absence coordination and administration, and serve as the first point of contact for our HR Benefits email inbox. You’ll work closely with our HR Benefits Partner and leadership, taking ownership of routine processes and escalating complex questions when additional guidance is needed.
What You’ll Do
-
Support open enrollment: Assist with employee communications, enrollment questions, documentation, and follow-up to help employees complete their elections accurately and on time.
-
Coordinate leaves of absence: Guide employees through the process, track required documentation and deadlines, maintain accurate records, and coordinate updates with HR, payroll, managers, and outside partners as appropriate.
-
Manage the HR Benefits inbox: Review and prioritize requests, answer routine questions, route issues to the appropriate resource, and follow through until employees receive a resolution.
-
Help employees navigate benefit enrollment, eligibility, qualifying life events, and questions related to health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and other benefit programs.
-
Maintain accurate employee benefit information and support payroll with benefit deduction questions and discrepancies.
-
Coordinate with the benefits team, insurance broker, carriers, and other partners to resolve administrative issues.
-
Support wellness initiatives, including annual wellness screenings, and help communicate benefit updates and resources.
-
Assist with benefits reporting, renewal information, process documentation, and related HR administrative projects.
-
Protect confidential employee information and follow established procedures and applicable requirements.
What You’ll Bring
-
Experience in HR administration, benefits support, leave coordination, or a related employee-support role.
-
Familiarity with employee benefits enrollment and administrative processes.
-
Leave-of-absence experience is preferred; transferable HR experience and demonstrated ability to learn new processes will also be considered.
-
Clear, approachable communication and a commitment to helping employees understand their next steps.
-
Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
-
Sound judgment, including knowing when to resolve an issue independently and when to seek guidance.
-
Experience maintaining confidential records and using HRIS or benefits systems.
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
-
The ability to work independently, collaborate remotely, and follow tasks through completion.
What We Offer
-
A remote work arrangement.
-
A collaborative culture grounded in being Fun, Passionate, Versatile, Collaborative, and Driven.
-
A comprehensive benefits package supporting your health, financial security, and well-being.
-
A generous employee discount on recognizable eyewear brands.
-
Opportunities to learn and grow as Bridgeview Eye Partners expands.
-
An opportunity to attend an annual HR conference to build your knowledge, connect with peers, and support your professional development.
If you enjoy helping employees, solving problems, and keeping important processes moving, we’d love to hear from you.
