Job Overview
Denbighshire County Council is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to act as first line contact for the HR Department and provide advice, support and guidance to managers and employees.
The role will involve HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including new starters, transfers, leavers, recruitment checks, vacancy packs, contractual documentation, DBS checks, EWC checks, references, Right to Work checks, i-Trent updates, payroll notifications, HR intranet updates and HR project support.

This is a Human Resources Assistant / HR Administrator role.
Candidates must have strong HR administration, recruitment administration, employee lifecycle and customer service experience.
Experience with i-Trent, safer recruitment checks, DBS, EWC, references, Right to Work checks, EDRMS or Vision Time would be highly desirable.

This role is hybrid, with 4 days remote and 1 day in the office.
The role is initially full time.
Interview will be held online.
Target interview date is 24 September 2026.
Interview will be approximately 30 minutes with the HR Team Manager.
