Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Work Shift: 7pm to 4am (Philippines) Job Summary: The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning people initiatives with business goals and ensuring the implementation of HR policies, programs, and services. The HRBP provides expertise in organizational effectiveness, talent development, employee relations, and change management to drive a high-performance culture. Essential Functions: The HRBP partners closely with business leaders and employees to deliver HR solutions that support operational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent development. The role ensures the effective implementation of people-related strategies and compliance with Philippine labor regulations while serving as a coach, specialist, and change champion. Act as a trusted advisor to assigned business units, providing guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, and employee engagement. Partner with managers on talent management initiatives, including succession planning, career development, and leadership readiness. Lead or support employee relations cases, investigations, and disciplinary actions in compliance with labor laws and company policies. Collaborate with HR centers of excellence (COEs) on compensation & benefits, learning & development, and talent acquisition initiatives. Drive execution of performance review cycles, calibration sessions, and feedback processes Analyze people metrics (e.g., attrition, engagement, headcount, ER trends) to generate insights and recommend improvements. Support change management and culture initiatives in alignment with business transformations. Act as a liaison between employees and management to resolve issues and promote a positive work environment. Ensure alignment of HR practices with Philippine labor regulations and prepare compliance reports when needed. Assist in policy interpretation, enforcement, and continuous improvement based on local nuances. Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or related field (required) Master’s of Business Administration or other related Master’s degree (preferred) Required Licensing & Certifications: Certification in HR practice, labor standards, or employee relations (e.g., CHRP, PHR, SHRM-CP) (preferred) Completion of DOLE-mandated labor compliance training (preferred) Experience: 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a generalist or HRBP capacity (required) 2 years people management experience (required) Experience supporting shared services, BPO, tech, or multinational organizations (required) Skills & Abilities: Strong business acumen and understanding of how HR supports organizational success. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills Deep knowledge of Philippine labor law and employee relations practices Effective at building trust and influencing across all levels of the organization. Skilled in data interpretation, HR reporting, and root cause analysis Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
