Esaote North America | Fishers, IN (Hybrid) | Full-Time, Exempt | Reports to the CEO/GM
Lead the People Strategy for a Company in Motion
Esaote North America is growing, evolving, and writing its next chapter as a distributorship sales organization of fewer than 100 employees. We are looking for a Director of Human Resources who wants more than to administer HR. We want a leader who takes a seat at the table and designs the people strategy that powers our growth.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will architect and execute a people-first strategy aligned with business goals, advise the CEO/GM and executive team through change, and build an inclusive, high-performing culture that scales with us.
What You'll Do
- Drive strategy: Align HR strategy with business growth and transformation, and advise executives on organizational design, talent strategy, and change leadership.
- Attract and retain talent: Lead full-cycle recruitment, build an employer brand that reflects our values, and deliver onboarding that engages people from day one.
- Shape culture: Promote an inclusive, accountable, values-driven culture, and lead engagement initiatives across policies, hiring, and leadership development.
- Grow people and performance: Lead performance management and goal setting, implement training, coaching, and leadership development, and partner with managers to build feedback-driven teams.
- Plan ahead: Lead succession planning and workforce development.
- Reward fairly: Administer competitive, equitable, and compliant compensation and benefits programs, and lead benefits communication and education.
- Protect the business: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, maintain handbooks, policies, and employee records, and lead investigations, audits, and complex employee relations matters.
- Run HR with data: Oversee our Paylocity HRIS, monitor KPIs such as turnover, and time-to-fill, and use data to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
- Oversee payroll and serve as a cross-functional partner to every business unit.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required); MBA, MAHR, or HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR (strongly preferred)
- 8–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in an HR leadership role
- Proven success scaling HR functions in small-to-mid-sized organizations
- Experience in medical devices, life sciences, or healthcare (strongly preferred)
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Paylocity), familiarity with compensation tools, ATS systems, and analytics platforms, and skill in Microsoft Office
- Understanding of, and commitment to complying with, our quality management system
How You Lead
You are strategic, emotionally intelligent, and steady through transformation. You communicate clearly at every level, protect confidentiality, let data guide your decisions, coach others to grow, and stay adaptable when priorities shift.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role with occasional travel (10–25%) for corporate meetings, team development, training sessions, or conferences. The position is primarily office-based and requires extended computer work, and the ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally. Reasonable accommodations are available.
