The recruiter ensures that every phase of the recruiting process is optimized, and new hires are supported to achieve maximum hiring and retention success. They provide excellent service to our internal customers and will provide a welcoming and supportive environment for candidates and new hires. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for customer service, call center, and similar recurring roles and have worked with a diverse candidate pool. Characteristics critical to success in the position include collaboration, compassion, independent judgment, strong inter-personal skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to customer service. Must have an ability to build positive working relationships with diverse groups at all levels. And the ability to make community connections to continuously build an applicant pipeline while hiring for recurring roles. This role is a time-limited position filling in for a team member from November 2026 – March 2027, with the possibility of extending beyond March. Experience sourcing and recruiting diverse candidate pools is desired. Proactive self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and accurately in a recruiting environment with flexibility to reset priorities as needed. Must be highly organized to complete complex processes with accuracy; strong attention to detail required. Must be comfortable networking and building working relationships with hiring teams, candidates, and external partners. Intermediate to advanced skills using Outlook, Teams, Zoom, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and web-based data management systems. An understanding of employment law and mitigating risk. Examples of what you will be doing: Coordinate full-cycle recruitment processes in collaboration with the hiring manager; including sourcing, screening resumes, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, initiating reference and background checks, making offers and onboarding. Ensure process steps are optimized and completed according to best practices. Collaborate with hiring managers on recruiting strategy, timeline, job posting, interview scheduling, and other hiring processes to assist in attracting and selecting the best candidate. Partner with hiring managers to identify business or staffing needs. Develop creative sourcing strategies to generate a high-quality, diverse call center candidate pool and pipeline for recurring call center roles. Provide excellent customer service to potential candidates; ensure a positive candidate experience, respond to inquiries, troubleshoot online application issues, and follow up with candidates in a timely manner. Screen and manage applications in the applicant tracking system (ADP Recruiting Module). Gather all documents. Ensure applicants complete all pre-employment requirements. Make recruiting arrangements and travel to other sites (such as Redmond or Bellevue) as needed to perform recruiting or hiring tasks, including possible job fairs.
