The project:

This opportunity forms part of one of the most significant hyperscale data centre developments in the Asia Pacific region, delivering a multi-gigawatt, mission-critical campus in Queensland, Australia. With a projected construction programme spanning more than six years, the project offers the rare opportunity to contribute to a landmark development through multiple phases of design, delivery and operational readiness.

Working alongside a world-class client and an exceptional Mace team, you will help deliver infrastructure of the highest quality within a heavily regulated environment. This role will suit professionals who have experience on large-scale, complex projects and who consistently demonstrate the highest levels of integrity, professionalism and technical excellence.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Lead the delivery of HV and BESS packages for large-scale data centre projects, ensuring safety, quality, programme and commissioning excellence.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across clients, consultants and trade partners to achieve project objectives.
• Oversee procurement, budgets, contracts and value optimisation to drive efficient project outcomes.
• Coordinate design, delivery and commissioning strategies, ensuring compliance, integration and operational readiness.
• Proactively manage risk, performance and project controls, leveraging digital tools to monitor progress and mitigate issues.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams while supporting innovation, prefabrication and net zero carbon objectives.

You’ll need to have:

• Degree in Engineering with 10+ years' experience delivering complex MEP/HV projects, within a critical infrastructure environment.
• Strong knowledge of engineering systems, commissioning and construction delivery.
• Experience managing programme, commercial performance, risk and project controls.
• Relevant industry accreditation and engineering qualifications preferred.
• SMSTS, CSCS and commitment to safety, quality and collaboration.
