Essential Duties and Responsibilities Act as a central point of contact for the Perth Office Lead, Manage and deliver hydrogeological projects Lead the preparation of high-quality and strategically thought-out proposals, tenders, RFQs, scopes of work etc Be a key leader in the development of Perth Groundwater practice group and consulting services Conceptual assessment of groundwater flow, fate and transport; Quantitative groundwater assessments of flow, fate and transport using analytical as well as 2D and 3D numerical modelling tools – SEEPW, HYDRUS, MODFLOW, GoldSim; Lead the development of innovative solutions for complex groundwater problems that the WA market is facing or could arise in the future Preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals; and Training: This position requires health and safety, first aid and other on-the-job training. We also offer professional development opportunities including in-house seminars, webinars, and mentoring, that allow our employees to build the technical and business skills necessary to become successful consultants. Further training to enhance skills on specialist software will also be provided e.g. Leapfrog, SEEPW, GIS, MODFLOW, etc Education and Licensure Bachelor’s degree in geology/earth science/geochemistry/hydrology or engineering or related field of study (required) Post graduate MSc or similar in hydrogeology (preferred) Skills, Experience and Qualifications 8+ years of consulting experience. (required) Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams. (preferred) Demonstrated success in teamwork. (preferred) Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
