IBM Guardium Project Manager & Lead Security Consultant

One of our clients, a leading organisation in the Telecommunications industry, is seeking an experienced IBM Guardium Project Manager & Lead Security Consultant to lead the successful delivery of a large-scale data security initiative. This role combines project leadership with deep technical expertise in IBM Guardium, ensuring secure deployment, governance, and optimisation of enterprise database security solutions while managing stakeholders, timelines, and project deliverables. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior cybersecurity professional who enjoys leading complex security projects while remaining hands-on with solution architecture and implementation. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership Lead the end-to-end delivery of the IBM Guardium implementation project. Manage project scope, timelines, budget, risks, and resource planning. Coordinate internal stakeholders, technical teams, and client representatives. Organise governance meetings and ensure effective project communication. Track project milestones, deliverables, and overall progress. Produce regular project status reports and executive updates. Ensure project execution aligns with organisational security policies and governance standards. Technical Leadership Design and implement IBM Guardium Data Protection architecture. Deploy, configure, and optimise IBM Guardium solutions across enterprise environments. Implement and manage: Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) Data Security Policies Compliance Reporting Vulnerability Assessment Integrate IBM Guardium with SIEM platforms and existing security ecosystems. Conduct solution validation, testing, and performance optimisation. Deliver technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and user training. Provide expert guidance on database security best practices and regulatory compliance. Requirements Ideal Profile We're looking for professionals who can demonstrate: Bachelor's or Master's degree (BAC+4/5) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years' experience managing cybersecurity or IT infrastructure projects. Proven hands-on experience delivering IBM Guardium Data Protection implementations. Demonstrated experience successfully managing similar IBM Guardium projects between 2021 and 2025 . Strong understanding of enterprise database security principles and data protection frameworks. Experience leading cross-functional and geographically distributed technical teams. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project governance skills. Fluency in French (spoken and written) is mandatory. English communication skills are advantageous.
