The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in RPG programming and a strong understanding of financial services systems. This role involves working closely with client teams to maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot legacy RPG applications critical to their business operations. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance RPG applications on IBM iSeries (AS/400) platforms. Analyze and resolve technical issues related to RPG programs and associated systems. Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and client stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Support integration of RPG applications with other systems and databases. Perform code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables. Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to client teams as needed. Adhere to Deloitte and client security, compliance, and quality standards. Required Qualifications Proven experience as an RPG Developer, preferably in financial services or related industries. Strong proficiency in RPG IV (ILE RPG) and familiarity with CL programming. Experience working on IBM iSeries (AS/400) environments. Knowledge of DB2 database and SQL programming. Ability to troubleshoot and optimize legacy RPG applications. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a client-facing environment. Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies. Contractor availability to work onsite or remotely as per client requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience with modernization initiatives involving RPG applications. Familiarity with financial services business processes and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of integration technologies such as APIs or web services.
