IBM Order Management System Consultant - 3 to 6 years Experience

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities• Design, configure, and implement IBM Sterling OMS solutions based on business requirements• Develop and customize order management workflows, business rules, and integrations• Work on order lifecycle management including order capture, inventory visibility, fulfillment,and returns• Integrate IBM OMS with upstream/downstream systems (ERP, POS, warehouse management,payment gateways)• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to order processing and systemperformance• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to ensure solution quality• Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and deployment guides• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practicesRequired Skills• 3–6 years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Order Management (OMS)• Strong understanding of order lifecycle, inventory management, and fulfillment processes• Experience with Java, J2EE, XML, XSLT, and Web Services (REST/SOAP)• Familiarity with OMS configuration tools, business rule engines, and workflow customization• Experience integrating OMS with third-party systems (ERP, WMS, POS)• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases• Good understanding of retail/e-commerce order management processes• Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or supply chain domains
