ICT Infrastructure Support Engineer

Job Description The ICT Infrastructure Support Engineer will support the technical delivery and maintenance of client IT infrastructure from the Lagos office and remotely. The role is hands-on with servers, networks, and hardware, and client-facing to ensure client SLAs and project requirements are met. Requirements Requirements - 0-2 years experience in ICT support, server, or network environment - Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Linux administration - Basic knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing, Switching, Firewalls - Familiarity with virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V is an added advantage - Familiarity with backup tools and remote support tools: TeamViewer, AnyDesk - Good troubleshooting, communication, report writing, and client management skills - Relevant certifications: CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA A+/N+ are an added advantage Key Responsibilities 1. Server & Infrastructure Support - Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers: Windows Server, Linux - Support server patching, backups, and monitoring of server health, storage, CPU, and RAM - Assist with management of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File and Print services 2. Network & Hardware Support - Support LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs remotely - Diagnose and resolve hardware issues: desktops, laptops, printers, servers - Assist with data center and telecom hardware configurations - Conduct preventive maintenance and support IT asset inventory 3. Client Delivery & Support - Serve as support contact for assigned clients under supervision - Provide remote and onsite 1st level support within SLA - Support client projects: system rollouts, upgrades, migrations - Assist with training client staff on systems and best practices via virtual sessions - Prepare technical reports and health checks for clients 4.
