Kotlin Developer

Job Summary: We're looking for a skilled Kotlin Developer to design, develop, and maintain our Android applications and backend services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kotlin programming, Android development, and software engineering principles for the development of solutions for POS devices. S/he will work closely with our cross-functional team to deliver high-quality financial products and services for our clients. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications and backend services using Kotlin Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to identify and prioritize project requirements Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and contribute to the improvement of the codebase Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely delivery of projects and maintenance of existing systems Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Kotlin and Android development Requirements: BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field A minimum of 3 years of experience in Kotlin programming and Android development for POS devices Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Android SDK, and Android architecture components Experience with backend services, APIs, and data storage solutions (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git) Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment Nice to Have: Experience with fintech or banking industry Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance Familiarity with cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) Experience with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
