We're looking for a highly skilled Identity & M365 Senior Engineer who is passionate about building secure, scalable, and automated enterprise platforms that directly impact thousands of users worldwide.

This is more than a traditional systems engineering role. You will serve as a trusted technical leader responsible for advancing our Microsoft 365 ecosystem, identity platforms, automation capabilities, and Identity security posture. You'll have the opportunity to drive strategic initiatives, influence technology direction, implement modern engineering practices, and leverage automation to eliminate manual work while improving reliability, performance, and user experience. As a senior member of the infrastructure and engineering organization, you'll partner with security, cloud, and application teams to design and implement solutions that modernize and secure Quest's global technology environment. Your work will directly reduce operational overhead, improve reliability, and accelerate service delivery across the IT organization.

This is a remote position based in Panama.

The candidate will work full-time remotely in Panama (Republic of Panama). The primary hours are Monday to Friday, with an 8-hour workday, plus lunch and breaks, and an 8 am (local hours) start time. Some after-hours and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

Lead and Modernize Microsoft 365 Services

You'll own and continuously improve Quest's Microsoft 365 platform, including:

• Exchange Online
• Microsoft Teams
• SharePoint Online
• OneDrive for Business
• Microsoft Intune
• Microsoft Defender

Build the Next Generation of Identity & Access Management

Identity is the foundation of modern cybersecurity. You'll lead initiatives involving:

• Microsoft Entra ID
• Active Directory
• Single Sign-On (SSO)
• Conditional Access
• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
• Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
• Identity Governance

Drive Automation Excellence

You'll design and build enterprise automation solutions using:

• Azure DevOps
• GitHub
• PowerShell
• Terraform
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Strengthen Cybersecurity Across the Enterprise

Working closely with security teams, you'll help protect our environment through:

• Identity security improvements
• Endpoint protection initiatives
• Email security enhancements
• Security hardening efforts
• Incident response support
• Compliance and audit readiness

Provide Technical Leadership

You'll be viewed as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor across multiple technology disciplines by:

• Leading complex engineering initiatives
• Influencing technical direction and architecture decisions
• Mentoring and developing other engineers
• Driving operational excellence and continuous improvement
• Collaborating with global teams to solve challenging technical problems

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise infrastructure or systems engineering experience
• 7+ years of experience with the following Microsoft technologies, 365 Administration, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Intune, Defender, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD Connect
• 7+ years of experience with the following, Identity & Security, Active Directory, Conditional Access, MFA, Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management, Vulnerability Management, Endpoint Protection
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, GitHub, PowerShell
• Deep expertise supporting Microsoft 365 environments including Entra ID and Active Directory
• Experience implementing automation and Infrastructure as Code solutions
• Experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity initiatives
• Success in leading technical projects and driving cross-functional collaboration
• Associate degree in information services, computer science, or equivalent
• Must be located in Panama
