About the role:

As a IFS Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex, end-to-end IFS Cloud implementation and transformation programs for enterprise clients across international markets. Working within a delivery-focused consultancy, you will play a key role in ensuring successful project execution in line with IFS implementation methodologies, managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and quality while delivering measurable business value and customer satisfaction.

Success in this position requires strong ERP project management expertise, extensive experience in enterprise implementations, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex, customer-facing environments. You will drive project delivery from initiation through go-live, establish effective project governance, manage senior stakeholder relationships and coordinate international delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes while maintaining strong commercial control and long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end IFS Cloud implementation projects from initiation through go-live and hypercare, ensuring successful delivery within agreed scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones and governance frameworks in alignment with IFS implementation methodologies and contractual commitments.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, managing expectations, building strong relationships and ensuring effective communication across international and multicultural environments.

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across functional, technical and integration workstreams, ensuring effective collaboration, clear accountability and timely delivery of project milestones.

  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and change requests, evaluating their impact on project timelines, costs and contractual obligations.

  • Manage project budgets, financial forecasts, resource costs and invoicing while maintaining commercial control and ensuring compliance with contractual commitments.

  • Plan, allocate, and coordinate project resources across workstreams, managing capacity, priorities and dependencies to meet project objectives and delivery commitments.

  • Prepare and deliver project status reports, financial updates and executive presentations, facilitate steering committee meetings and ensure timely escalation of critical issues and decisions.

  • Monitor project deliverables against agreed quality standards, business requirements and client expectations, ensuring successful solution delivery and realization of expected business benefits.

  • Motivate and support project teams, delegate responsibilities effectively, resolve conflicts and foster a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven delivery environment.

  • Manage project delivery across multiple geographies, time zones and cultural environments, ensuring effective coordination between clients, consultants, and other delivery stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Information Technology, Business Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.

  • Proven experience managing medium to large-scale ERP implementation and transformation programmes, including end-to-end IFS implementations, in a project management or delivery leadership capacity.

  • Strong understanding of the ERP implementation lifecycle, project governance and Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.

  • Strong understanding of IFS Cloud, IFS software, and service offerings.

  • Experience working across international delivery programmes and managing stakeholders across different cultures locations, and time zones.

  • Exposure to IFS Cloud modules such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Procurement and Human Capital Management is preferred.

  • Experience working with Public Sector and Service Industry organisations is preferred.

  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across complex delivery environments.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities while maintaining scope, timelines, budgets, and delivery risks.

  • Previous consultancy or customer-facing ERP delivery experience is preferred.

  • Professional project management certification is preferred.

  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

We champion flexibility and hybrid work options to support varying lifestyles and personal needs. At the same time, we value the power of in-person collaboration to build community, spark innovation, and strengthen connections. Our approach ensures you can work in ways that suit you best while still engaging with colleagues to share ideas and grow together.
