Business IAM & IGA Consultant - Dutch-speaking candidates only. Permanent employment only. Must be able to travel to The Hague 1–2 days per week.
Upper Medior – Senior | Permanent | Hybrid | Netherlands
Ready to make a real impact in Identity & Access Management?
Join a growing specialist cybersecurity consultancy that is winning new projects across the Netherlands. This is an opportunity to work on challenging IAM and IGA initiatives, advise enterprise and public-sector clients, and help shape how organisations manage identity, access and security.
Rather than focusing purely on technical implementation, you’ll work at the business, governance and advisory end of IAM — helping clients turn complex security, risk and compliance requirements into practical solutions.
As the business continues to grow, you’ll also have the opportunity to take ownership of client engagements and play a part in building a specialist consultancy with big ambitions.
The opportunity
You’ll work closely with business, IT, security and senior management stakeholders to improve how organisations govern identities, manage access and meet their security and compliance obligations.
You’ll be trusted to get under the skin of each client’s challenges, lead discussions and workshops, and provide clear, practical advice that delivers results.
This is a business-focused IAM/IGA consulting role, not a generic Business Analyst position. We’re looking for someone who understands identity governance and can confidently advise clients on the processes, policies and operating models behind effective access management.
What you’ll be doing
- Shape IAM and IGA strategy: Develop and improve governance frameworks, access policies and operating models.
- Improve access governance: Lead initiatives involving role management, role mining and access recertification.
- Optimise identity lifecycles: Design and improve Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes and identity lifecycle management.
- Support transformation projects: Contribute to identity mapping, data quality and discovery ahead of IGA migrations and implementations.
- Advise on risk and compliance: Translate audit findings and regulatory requirements into effective identity governance controls.
- Lead client workshops: Gather requirements, challenge existing processes and bring business, IT and security stakeholders together.
- Engage senior stakeholders: Communicate recommendations clearly, including to management-level audiences.
- Take ownership: Work independently, build trusted client relationships and deliver meaningful outcomes.
What we’re looking for
- At least 4–5 years of relevant IAM/IGA experience, with demonstrable expertise in identity governance and access management.
- Strong knowledge of areas such as access governance, role management, recertification, identity lifecycle management and JML processes.
- A business-oriented, consultative approach, with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.
- Experience advising clients, leading workshops and managing stakeholders across business, IT and security.
- Familiarity with one or more IGA platforms, such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Omada or Microsoft Entra ID, from a functional or governance perspective.
- An understanding of risk, compliance and audit requirements, ideally including GDPR/AVG and ISO 27001.
- HBO/WO working and thinking level, ideally with a background in IT, cybersecurity, information security or security management.
- The confidence and independence to take ownership of client engagements.
Dutch language skills are essential. You must be comfortable advising Dutch-speaking clients and communicating confidently with stakeholders.
Deep software development or coding experience is not required. The emphasis is on your functional IAM/IGA knowledge, governance expertise and ability to advise.
Working arrangements
- Employment: Permanent position only.
- Location: The Netherlands, with regular client travel.
- On-site commitment: Able to travel to The Hague 1–2 days per week.
- Working model: Hybrid, with a mix of client-site and remote working, depending on the assignment.
Please note that the ability to travel to The Hague regularly is a firm requirement.
Why join?
Be part of a business on the move.
The consultancy is growing, securing new projects across the Netherlands and building its reputation in specialist cybersecurity, IAM and IGA.
You’ll benefit from:
- Interesting client projects across enterprise and public-sector environments.
- A specialist team where identity and cybersecurity are core areas of expertise.
- Real autonomy to shape your approach, lead engagements and take responsibility for outcomes.
- Professional development through knowledge sharing, training and challenging assignments.
- A chance to help build something bigger as the consultancy expands its project delivery capabilities.
- Short communication lines and direct access to decision-makers.
If you’re an IAM/IGA consultant who enjoys solving business problems, advising stakeholders and seeing the impact of your work, this is an opportunity to take the next step with a growing specialist consultancy.

If you have a strong background in business-focused IAM/IGA, speak Dutch fluently and are ready to take ownership of client engagements, we’d like to hear from you.
