Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Immigration Associate Attorney in Washington, DC. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely or in a hybrid setting, handling a variety of employment-based immigration matters. The position involves direct client interaction and collaboration with experienced attorneys, as well as handling family-based immigration and petitions.

Duties

• Handle H-1B petitions, TN applications, and O and P visa renewals.
• Manage E-2 visa embassy processing.
• Handle family-based immigration and petitions.
• Manage adjustment of status and consular processing.
• Defend clients in removal and deportation cases.
• Participate in immigration court proceedings.
• Work on asylum and humanitarian cases.
• Assist with DACA, TPS, U visas, and waivers.
• Prepare for naturalization and citizenship processes.
• Collaborate on case strategy and client advising.
• Prepare end-to-end immigration petitions.

Requirements

• 15 years of experience in employment-based immigration matters and family-based immigration and petitions.
• Admission to DC State Bar.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to DC State Bar.

Skills

• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work directly with corporate clients and foreign nationals.
