Immigration Specialist - Remote

The Immigration Specialist handles and completes the day-to-day immigration requests that come through. The position provides high-level support to the internal offices as well as external customers (such as Suppliers and Consultants) by answering questions and providing necessary documents. This position also handles the H-1B, TN, and Green Card sponsorship process from implementation through completion.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Prepare verification of employment (VOE) letters
• Review work authorization documents for legitimacy and validity
• Partner with outside counsel to prepare, file and track non-immigrant visas
• Partner with outside counsel to prepare, file and track PERM labor certification cases and I-140 filings
• Create and maintain public access files
• Create STEM training plans
• Track visa expiration dates
• Track and maintain foreign student tax exemption list
• Serve as a point of contact for immigration related questions for internal and external customers
  
  

Additional Duties/Responsibilities

• Aid in preparing presentations for training purposes
• Assist with maintaining the Immigration confidential tab as well as the Immigration tab on the Loop
• Stay informed on immigration policies, rules, and regulations
• Update appropriate audiences regarding immigration changes that impact our business
• Assist on special projects as needed

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of related experience with immigration matters
• Experience in the IT industry preferred
  
  

Base salary - $60,000 - $70,000

This position includes additional variable compensation in the form of an annual bonus opportunity.
