Position Summary The Impact and Evaluation Officer supports the effective measurement, learning, and continuous improvement of IPF’s programs and services, including Launchpad, Money Smarts, Digital Access, Incubator Hubs, Mentorship, and related granting initiatives. This role is responsible for coordinating program-level data collection, reporting, and evaluation activities to ensure programs are responsive, culturally grounded, and aligned with community needs. The Impact and Evaluation Officer will translate program outcomes into meaningful insights, support community engagement processes, and collaborate with the Communications team to share impact stories and key messages with the public. The position plays a critical role in ensuring programs remain accountable to participants, funders, and Indigenous communities while informing current and future program development. Key Responsibilities Program Impact Measurement and Tracking Implement program evaluation frameworks aligned with IPF’s strategic priorities. Develop and maintain logic models, KPIs, and outcome tracking tools for all programs. Coordinate collection of quantitative and qualitative data across program activities. Monitor participation, completion rates, grant disbursement tracking, mentor engagement, and regional representation. Ensure consistent documentation and data integrity across program teams. Reporting and Results Prepare regular program reports for funders, partners, and internal leadership. Track progress against funding agreements and program deliverables. Support development of quarterly and annual program summaries. Ensure reporting reflects both measurable outcomes and community impact. Community Engagement and Feedback Conducted structured participant feedback processes (surveys, sharing circles, interviews, post-program reflections). Conduct community engagement to gather insights on program relevance and accessibility. Integrate Indigenous approaches to evaluation, including relational accountability and culturally grounded feedback methods. Identify emerging needs and gaps within communities served. Continuous Improvement and Program Development Analyze program data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement. Provide recommendations for program adjustments and enhancements. Contribute evidence-based insights to inform future program design and expansion. Support intermediary partners in strengthening their reporting and evaluation practices. Coordination with Communications Collaborate with the Programs and Communications teams to translate impact data into public facing impact stories, key messages, program highlights, annual reports and digital content. Provide verified data and participant insights to support storytelling. Qualifications Education This role requires a post-secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience Minimum two (2) years of experience in program evaluation, reporting an/or impact reporting. Prior experience working with Indigenous communities and/or organization is preferred. Abilities, Skills & Knowledge Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills. Ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations. Ability to coordinate surveys, feedback tools, and outcome tracking systems. Ability to collaborate with communications or marketing teams to share impact stories considered an asset. Primary Location: Ottawa, Ontario. IPF operates on a hybrid work model. Remote work arrangements may be considered based on organizational needs and role responsibilities.
