The Implementation Manager (IM) is responsible for managing customer implementations from contract signature through successful completion, acting as the project manager and primary delivery lead throughout the process.
The IM ensures projects are executed according to agreed timelines, scope, and customer expectations. The role plays a key part in delivering early customer value, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and enabling a smooth transition to Customer Success ownership after implementation.

What you'll do
Implementation Project Management
Manage end-to-end implementation projects for assigned customers
Own and maintain the Implementation Statement of Work, project plans, and defined milestones and timelines
Coordinate tasks, dependencies, and resources throughout the implementation lifecycle
Own and drive Time-to-Value as a core performance metric for assigned accounts
Monitor progress, identify risks, and escalate issues when required — including named ownership of escalating churn or downsell risk on Enterprise and Upper Mid-Market accounts
Adjust plans as needed to ensure successful delivery
Success Criteria & Customer Alignment
Validate the customer's solution expectations and align on what success looks like for their implementation
Define and document the customer's success criteria and definition of done
Ensure outcomes are tracked toward time-to-value and platform adoption
Apply change management best practices to help customers navigate the organizational and process shifts that come with adopting Trackunit's platform
Customer Communication & Engagement
Serve as the primary customer contact during the implementation phase
Lead all customer meetings throughout the implementation phase to align on goals, scope, timelines, and responsibilities, and to progress open deliverables
Provide regular status updates and progress reporting to customers
Support issue resolution and manage customer expectations throughout the project
Technical & Solution Understanding (Applied)
Maintain a solid working understanding of Trackunit products and solution architecture
Understand how solution components interact and impact implementation delivery
Collaborate closely with Hardware and Platform subject matter experts on technical requirements and dependencies
Translate technical considerations into clear project actions and customer communication
Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with internal stakeholders including CSMs, Commercial, Marketing, and Hardware & Platform teams
Ensure relevant teams are informed of implementation progress, risks, and milestones
Support alignment across teams to enable smooth execution and a handover that enables CSM to pursue adoption and expansion opportunities
Act as a mobilizer to ensure the right resources are engaged at the right time
Continuous Improvement Contribution
Identify common implementation challenges and improvement opportunities
Share insights and feedback to support refinement of implementation processes and best practices
Contribute to team knowledge, documentation, and standard ways of working
Who you are
Skills and Experience
Experience in customer-facing project management, implementation, or delivery roles; strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously; comfort working in technical or product-led environments; experience with change management methodologies; a structured, detail-oriented, and customer-focused mindset.

Business Impact
The role primarily has an operational and tactical impact at the individual customer and project level, directly influencing time-to-value, customer satisfaction, and the quality of the handover to Customer Success.
Communication and Collaboration
The IM interacts internally with CSMs, Commercial, Marketing, and Hardware & Platform teams, and externally serves as the primary customer contact during implementation. Communication is focused mainly on informing and advising, including leading all customer meetings and providing status updates.
Problem-Solving and Development
The role addresses day-to-day implementation challenges such as risks, scope changes, and coordination issues, generally within established methodologies and playbooks. The IM also contributes improvement ideas based on recurring implementation challenges but does not own process redesign.

Decision-Making and Responsibility
The IM delivers implementations independently within defined frameworks and established methodologies, escalating risks and issues appropriately rather than resolving all issues unilaterally. Decisions are generally operational and project-level rather than strategic.
Scope of the Role
This is an individual contributor role with no direct people management responsibility. Scope is defined by an assigned portfolio of customer implementations rather than by geograph[remainder of source sentence missing].
