Summary

The IT Project Manager – Airport & Airline Operations drives small projects or defined project workstreams with increasing autonomy. The role is responsible for coordinating stakeholders, managing assigned delivery activities and ensuring successful execution of implementation scope. The role acts as the primary coordinator for smaller engagements while developing leadership and customer-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive small-scale implementation projects or defined workstreams;
• Develop and maintain project plans, action logs, risks and dependencies;
• Coordinate testing, readiness, deployment and go-live activities;
• Lead customer working sessions for assigned scope;
• Translate customer requirements into implementation actions;
• Present project status updates and drive issue resolution;
• Support new team members through knowledge sharing and peer support;
• Contribute reusable assets, lessons learned and delivery improvement ideas;
• Apply strong technical and functional knowledge, with an understanding of the relevant business area;
• Follow established procedures, recommend solutions, and propose improvements with moderate managerial guidance;
• Monitor delivery, quality, resources, technical issues, risks, costs, and reporting; propose mitigation actions and escalate impacts to scope, timeline, or budget.

About the ideal candidate:

• Experience supporting or coordinating implementation/project activities;
• Ability to drive small projects or workstreams with limited guidance;
• Good communication, presentation and reporting skills;
• Airline or Airport Operations – preferred;
• Good IT background and ability to understand implementation dependencies;
• Ability to coordinate stakeholders and manage actions to closure.
