About the Opportunity

RACV is building a modern, in-house creative studio, and we're looking for an experienced In-House Creative Manager to lead its next chapter.

In this role, you’ll lead the creative vision for RACV’s in-house studio, bringing together ideas, design, copy and emerging technologies to create distinctive work across RACV’s products, services and channels. Leading a talented multidisciplinary team, you’ll set the creative standard, sharpen the brand’s voice and visual identity, and build smarter creative systems that help great ideas move faster, work harder and reach members in more personalised ways.

Working closely with Brand, Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, Social Media and agency partners, you’ll turn strategy into bold, effective creative that drives engagement, strengthens brand distinctiveness and delivers commercial impact, while helping shape what a modern in-house creative studio can become at RACV.

Key Responsibilities

Lead RACV's Creative Studio

  • Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team across design, copy and creative production.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Establish high standards of creative quality and ensure work aligns with business and customer objectives.
  • Balance strategic leadership with hands-on creative direction and mentoring.

Drive Creative Excellence

  • Translate marketing strategies and customer insights into compelling creative solutions.
  • Lead creative concept development and execution across a broad range of channels.
  • Deliver channel-specific creative that resonates with the right audience at the right moment.

Champion the RACV Brand

  • Ensure creative output reflects and strengthens RACV's brand identity, tone of voice and visual standards.
  • Increase brand consistency and distinctiveness across products, services and customer communications.

Build an AI-Enabled Creative Capability

  • Lead the adoption of generative AI and emerging creative technologies.
  • Develop scalable workflows that improve speed, efficiency and personalisation.
  • Establish best practice approaches for quality, governance and responsible AI use.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance creative production through automation and new technologies.

Optimise Studio Operations

  • Oversee creative intake, prioritisation, resource planning and delivery.
  • Implement efficient creative workflows and production processes.
  • Develop reusable creative assets, templates and systems that improve speed and consistency.
  • Manage studio capacity and identify opportunities to deliver more work in-house.

Partner Across RACV

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external creative agencies.
  • Determine the right balance between internally produced, adapted and externally commissioned work.
  • Ensure campaigns and creative platforms are effectively scaled across RACV's channels.

About You

You're a creative leader with strong creative judgement, commercial acumen and a passion for building high-performing teams.

You'll bring

  • Significant experience leading creative, design, content or studio teams, either in-house or agency-side.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating creative leadership, execution and problem-solving.
  • Expertise across design, copy, digital, social, CRM, campaign and content channels.
  • Experience building and managing high-volume creative production environments.
  • Strong understanding of brand systems, creative quality and customer-centred communication.
  • Practical experience using generative AI and emerging creative technologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, coaching and influencing skills.
  • The ability to balance creative ambition with operational delivery and commercial outcomes.

We offer

  • Opportunities to work on innovative growth areas including electrification and home services.
  • Discounts and benefits across selected RACV products and services.
  • A collaborative and inclusive culture where your ideas and expertise are valued.
  • A flexible hybrid working model.
  • Career development opportunities within one of Australia's most recognised member organisations.
