Inbound Sales & Conversion Specialist

SharedEasy operates ~400 beds across 20 coliving properties in New York City — 5–7 room types per property, dynamic pricing, different rules per building, and availability that shifts every week.

Warm leads come to you from our website. Your job is to qualify them fast, match them to the right room across live inventory, set hard expectations so nobody cancels later, and close the booking with payment.

This is not customer support and it is not cold outbound. It is high-volume inbound conversion against real operational complexity. It rewards people who think in systems, hold a lot of moving detail in their head under pressure, and ask for the money without pushing.

What you'll do

• Respond to inbound leads within 5 minutes during work hours
• Qualify quickly: budget, dates, room type, must-haves
• Match clients to the right room across 20 properties and 100+ room configurations
• Convert qualified leads into confirmed bookings with payment collected
• Set hard expectations on deposits, refund policy and house rules — upfront, not later
• Run your CRM with daily discipline: clean pipeline, real follow-up cadence, accurate notes
• Track your own conversion rate, response speed and booking accuracy
• Work with operations and finance for clean move-ins
• Adapt in real time as inventory, pricing and rules change weekly

You'll do well here if you

• Have personally operated against a large inventory in a prior sales role — multiple properties, SKUs, or a real account book. You can tell us how many items you managed and exactly how you kept track of them.
• Have closed on commission before and are comfortable asking for payment at the right moment
• Process information fast and stay organized when things change weekly
• Communicate in fluent, professional English — written and spoken — at a level US buyers trust
• Have worked remotely on performance comp and manage your own time without supervision
• Stay composed when buyers are skeptical or testing you. You don't fold, and you don't pressure-sell to compensate.
• Treat the CRM as your workspace, not a chore

You'll struggle here if you

• Come from pure customer service or support with no closing experience
• Have only ever sold one product, in one location
• Need scripts, brand recognition or warm introductions to perform
• Prefer slow, relationship-driven sales cycles

Schedule

• Default: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
• Flexibility required: may temporarily rotate to Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday with prior notice, based on lead patterns
• First 2 training months are Monday–Friday

Compensation

• Base: $1,000 USD/month, guaranteed
• Performance bonuses: uncapped, paid on every confirmed booking
• Realistic total earnings: consistent performers earn $2,000–$3,000+/month. Top performers earn more.
• No commission caps.

Terms

• Full-time, fully remote
• 2-month fully paid probation
• 2 weeks paid vacation per year (one week per 6 months worked)
