Incident Response Analyst | 12-Month Contract | Fully Remote (Romania)

Are you a calm, decisive incident leader who thrives under pressure? We're looking for an experienced Incident Response Analyst to join an established Incident Response team on a 12-month B2B contract.

About the role

This is not a technical engineering position. You'll own the incident process end-to-end — leading bridge calls, bringing the right technical teams together, managing escalations, and keeping stakeholders clearly informed until service is restored. If you're the person a room turns to when a major incident hits, this role is for you.

What you'll do

• Lead and coordinate high-impact production incidents across business-critical systems
• Own P0/P1 incidents end-to-end: impact assessment, prioritisation, escalation, communication, and follow-up
• Run technical bridge calls and war rooms, driving the right teams to resolution
• Manage escalations and provide clear updates to senior stakeholders under pressure
• Contribute to RCA, PIR, and continuous improvement following incidents

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of dedicated Incident / Major Incident Management experience
• Proven track record leading P0/P1 incidents, war rooms, and bridge calls
• Strong knowledge of ITIL Incident and Problem Management, RCA, PIR
• Experience in enterprise, global, SLA-driven, or 24/7 operational environments
• Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, OpsGenie/PagerDuty, CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace, or Grafana
• Excellent spoken English and the confidence to lead senior stakeholders through high-pressure situations

📍 Location: Remote - Romania (open to other EU locations)

💼 Contract: 12 months, B2B, fully remote

💶 Rate: €100 - 120/day
