ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Akan Ascendia Ed is building a trusted network of qualified, SACE-registered educators to assess and mark learner work on a freelance basis. Assignments are offered according to learner enrolments, subject requirements and assessor availability.
This role is ideal for educators who value professionalism, flexibility and high-quality assessment practices. Successful applicants become part of our approved Independent Assessor Network and may be contacted for future assessment opportunities.
Role Description
- Assess learner work accurately.
- Apply supplied memoranda and rubrics.
- Provide professional marking comments where required.
- Meet agreed turnaround times.
- Maintain learner confidentiality.
- Submit completed assessments electronically.
Minimum Requirements
- South African Citizen
- Valid SACE registration.
- Recognised teaching qualification.
- CAPS curriculum knowledge.
- Reliable internet access.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Professional conduct.
