We are currently looking for a Individual Giving Assistant to join our Development team on a full time permanent contract. The Individual Giving Assistant is responsible for managing the operational and reporting elements of our individual giving activities which include: online donations, legacies, our Name a Seat scheme, one-off donations from audiences and on-site visitor donations. Key Responsibilities Follow donor administrative processes such as handling renewals of regular donations, recording contributions and Gift Aid administration. Identify opportunities to improve and automate processes where possible to increase efficiency. Respond to supporter enquiries by phone and email, ensuring all queries are handled efficiently and personably, often acting as first point of contact. Deliver effective donor stewardship, including drafting regular email communications which demonstrate the impact of donations, thanking donors in a timely way and planning a varied supporter events programme in order to build strong relationships and increase retention rates. Utilise the CRM to produce regular reports on KPIs and financial performance. With support from colleagues in finance, develop financial modelling which informs budgets and forecasts. Maintain accurate supporter data and adhere to GDPR, PECR, and fundraising best practices. Skills & Experience Strong problem solving skills, with a proven ability to improve administrative and stewardship processes, as well as developing new ones. Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in communicating with donors in writing, in person and over the phone. Experienced in email marketing, with the ability to compellingly communicate to donors the impact of their support. Experience in using a CRM and ability to analyse audience data and behaviour. Proficiency in producing financial and analytical reports and measuring KPIs.
