Individual Giving Manager
Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette (PPCW) is hiring an Individual Giving Manager to join our Development team in Northeast Portland, Oregon.
Build meaningful relationships. Inspire generosity. Help expand access to essential health care.
At PPCW, we believe everyone deserves access to compassionate, high-quality sexual and reproductive health care, regardless of their background or circumstances. Our Development team plays a critical role in making that care possible by connecting donors with opportunities to support our patients, programs, and communities.
As our Individual Giving Manager, you'll lead our annual and mid-level giving programs, strengthen relationships with individual donors, and help grow the philanthropic support that sustains our mission. You'll have the opportunity to build and shape a mid-level giving program, develop creative donor engagement strategies, and lead a small team of development professionals.
This is an opportunity for an experienced fundraising professional who combines strategic thinking with genuine relationship-building skills—and wants their work to make a meaningful difference.
What You'll Do
As the Individual Giving Manager, you'll oversee annual and mid-level fundraising efforts, manage donor relationships, and support the growth and development of our fundraising team.
On a typical day, you might:
-
Lead annual giving strategies, including direct mail, digital campaigns, recurring giving, workplace giving, and planned giving initiatives
-
Build and manage a mid-level giving program for donors contributing $1,000–$9,999
-
Develop data-driven strategies to acquire, retain, engage, and increase support from individual donors
-
Manage a portfolio of mid-level donors through personalized outreach, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
-
Identify opportunities to move donors toward major gift relationships in collaboration with the Major Gifts team
-
Oversee donor acknowledgment and stewardship efforts to ensure supporters feel valued and connected to PPCW's mission
-
Partner with colleagues on donor communications, fundraising events, and sponsorship opportunities
-
Support PPCW's affinity groups, including Lawyers for Reproductive Access and the Provider's Circle, through member engagement, communications, and cultivation activities
-
Track fundraising performance, analyze results, and recommend strategies to meet or exceed goals
-
Supervise, mentor, and support the professional development of up to three Development team members
-
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and mission-driven team environment
