Primary Function:
- Provides institutional expertise in the delivery of clinical care as it relates to the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Program
- Evaluates and promotes new technologies with a focus on streamlining clinical documentation and assessment processes.
- Participates in the development and advanced implementation support of automated clinical processes.
- Provides at the elbow and other end user support for all end users of the EHR.

Position Details:

**This position provides regular onsite/in-person support to Mercy Clinics in the Northwest Arkansas Community. Occasional out of town travel is required.**


Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:


Education: Associate's degree in healthcare field, specialized training or equivalent work experience with electronic health record.


Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant technical or business work experience. Good verbal and written communication skills.


Additional Requirements:

  • *The Informatics Analyst will splite their time onsite and remote*
  • Preferred previous experience with Epic EHR
  • Preferred experience with data analytics, data management associated with systems evaluation
  • Preferred experience in medical policy documentation
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
  • Experience with business applications.

About Mercy

Transforming the Health of Our Communities

Our Mercy health system was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1986. But our heritage goes back more than 195 years. It began with an Irish woman named Catherine McAuley, who was determined to help women and children in Dublin experiencing poverty. Though Catherine had a modest upbringing, she received an unexpected inheritance that allowed her to fulfill that dream. In 1827, she opened the first House of Mercy in Dublin, intending to teach skills to women and educate children. Many volunteers came to help.

A few years later, Catherine founded the Sisters of Mercy, one of the first religious orders whose Sisters were free to walk among the poor and visit them in their homes. In 1843, the Sisters of Mercy came to the United States. In 1856, they traveled to St. Louis. In the years to come, they would establish hospitals throughout the Midwest. Many of these would join together in 1986 as Mercy.
