Role Description The Information Technology Asset Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement. The role involves maintaining accurate asset inventories, tracking usage and performance, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and licensing agreements. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating IT procurement activities, managing configuration data, analyzing asset-related metrics, and optimizing costs and utilization. The IT Asset Manager collaborates with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure technology resources are aligned with organizational needs, secure, and efficiently managed. Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong IT Asset Management and Information Technology skills to manage hardware, software, and related infrastructure effectively.
Candidates should possess IT Procurement skills to handle vendor coordination, purchasing processes, and contract and license management.
Candidates should possess Analytical Skills and Configuration Management skills to interpret asset data, maintain configuration records, and support decision-making.
Relevant skills such as familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools, basic understanding of information security principles, and knowledge of asset lifecycle best practices are beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, along with prior experience in IT asset or procurement roles, is preferred.
