Role Description The Information Technology Specialist will support and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure to ensure reliable operations across retail and back-office environments. This part-time hybrid role is based in Qesm 1st 6 October, with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring and administering networks, resolving hardware and software issues, implementing basic network security measures, and ensuring stable connectivity for point-of-sale and internal systems. The specialist will also provide technical support to staff, assist with setup and configuration of devices and applications, and coordinate with external vendors or service providers when needed. Documentation of IT procedures and proactive identification of system improvements are key aspects of the role.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Information Technology and Troubleshooting skills to support daily operations and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Candidates should possess Network Administration and Network Security skills to manage, maintain, and protect the company’s network and connected systems.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to provide clear, empathetic technical support to internal users and, when needed, external partners.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance in small-business or retail environments.
• Candidates should possess good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document processes and explain technical concepts in accessible language.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management abilities to prioritize tasks in a part-time, hybrid setting.
• Relevant certificates or coursework in IT, networking, or cybersecurity (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent) are beneficial.
• Experience in retail or customer-facing environments and comfort working in both onsite and remote settings is an advantage.
