Information Technology Specialist

A growing healthcare technology business is looking for a technical specialist to join the team. This role focuses on the maintenance and development of critical infrastructure, ensuring high levels of connectivity and protection across varied environments. You will work within a forward-thinking department dedicated to implementing modern security frameworks and supporting complex integration projects.

What you'll be doing

• Operating, monitoring, and optimizing network and firewall environments across on-premises and hybrid setups.

• Implementing security measures including network segmentation, zero-trust architectures, and cloud security basics.

• Supporting migration and integration projects while managing second and third-level troubleshooting and incidents.

• Creating technical documentation and conceptual designs for infrastructure improvements.

• Assisting with internal projects and technical inquiries to ensure continuous service availability.

What we're looking for

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a completed vocational training in a related technical field.

• Practical experience with firewall, switch, and antivirus portfolios, specifically within Sophos and HPE Aruba environments.

• A strong background in IT project environments or technical consulting with a focus on continuous professional growth.

• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with a structured approach to complex technical challenges.

• Professional fluency in German and a willingness to travel for project-related requirements.
