Role Description The Information Technology Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for maintaining and supporting SAS International’s technology infrastructure used to deliver global security and consultancy services. Each day, this role involves monitoring and administering networks, resolving technical issues, and ensuring secure, reliable connectivity for distributed teams and clients. The specialist will configure and support hardware and software, manage user accounts and access controls, and implement security measures in line with industry best practices. The role also includes documenting procedures, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and providing responsive customer and technical support to colleagues and end users. The successful candidate will help optimize systems performance and contribute to continuous improvement of IT operations.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Information Technology and Troubleshooting skills to diagnose, resolve, and prevent technical issues across systems and applications.
• Candidates should possess solid Network Administration skills, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of routers, switches, and related infrastructure.
• Candidates should possess Network Security skills to implement and manage firewalls, access controls, encryption, and security policies that protect sensitive data.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide clear, professional support to remote team members and internal stakeholders.
• Relevant experience with remote work tools, VPNs, cloud platforms, and collaboration solutions is highly beneficial.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in security, consulting, or risk management environments, and familiarization with global operations, is an advantage.
